Yorkshire based EDS Haulage is a specialist in lorry loaders, articulated and rigid vehicles for transportation of machinery, cabins and timber frame products to and from locations throughout the UK.
A significant part of our work involves transporting building materials for the construction industry - specifically timber frames and roof trusses, which can be awkward to handle. Our craned tractor units can be paired with our purpose-made truss trailer, which features a 'V' cutout bed to safely invert taller or longer trusses. We also offer on-site lifting, with the capability to crane components into position (up to a 12m reach, single-storey).
Specialists in Tight Access Delivery
It is often the case that loads are required to be delivered to sites which have limited or tight access. Due to this we have invested in a 44 tonne artic with a 50 metre tonne crane, with the additional option of a short 3.6m flat back, which is ideal for working in confined spaces.

EDS Haulage and Lorry Loader Hire became a limited company in 2015, however have been established in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire since 1988, providing flexible and professional haulage services to the construction and manufacturing industries.
The company was started by an owner driver with a rigid crane vehicle, which grew throughout the years to a fleet of eight.
Our staff work with specialist lorry loader crane vehicles daily, and hold RTITB certificates. They are highly proficient at providing the safest and best solution to ensure the lifting and transportation of goods / machinery goes smoothly.
